This Olowalu Plantation House wedding was an epic celebration of two beautiful souls, being united in love, and surrounded by the people that mean the most to them in the world.
The bride is Irish, so of course she chose a St. Patrick’s Day wedding. Erica of Couture Events took that inspiration and ran from there. Their theme was “Lucky in Love” and they incorporated elements such as green beer and an Irish band into their big day. They also made sure to incorporate elements local to Maui as well, which you’ll see in the King Proteas and seeded eucalyptus, both of which are locally grown here on Maui. They also added in a few personal DIY touches as well such as custom signage, calligraphy table numbers and a surf board in lieu of a traditional guest sign in book! But the biggest detail of all was the love surrounding the couple as they became husband and wife. It was a beautiful thing to witness and we are so grateful to have been chosen as their Maui wedding photographer! It was an honor documenting and being a part of this amazing day.
